Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides you with ongoing clinical support as you pursue a healthy, independent lifestyle.
About Our Intensive Outpatient Program
During IOP, you will participate in three hours of treatment per day. Most IOP patients attend sessions three days per week. When you are not participating in IOP sessions, you can attend school, work or look for a job, or perform volunteer service.
IOP at Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital may be right for you if you meet one of the following criteria:
- You have completed a higher level of care, such as inpatient treatment or a partial hospitalization program (PHP), but you need continued support.
- You need more intensive support than typical outpatient therapy provides, but you do not need the high level of structure and support offered via inpatient programming or PHP.
